PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A former NFL player who was found naked in southwest Portland broke into multiple houses before he was shot by a homeowner, according to court documents.
Stanley Wilson II, 33, is facing charges of first-degree burglary and three counts of criminal trespass.
Portland officers and Multnomah County deputies responded to the 4900 block of Southwest Humphrey Boulevard at 3:51 p.m. June 22.
A homeowner called 911 to report he had shot someone trying to break into his home. Officers searched the property and said Wilson was found naked in a water fountain in the backyard.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound and later booked into the Multnomah County Jail.
According to court documents, Wilson is facing the charge of second-degree criminal trespass for the incident on Humphrey Boulevard. He is facing that same charge in connection to a home on the 5000 block of Southwest Maple Lane.
Wilson is also charged with first-degree criminal trespass for an incident at a home on the 3400 block of Brentwood Drive and first-degree burglary at a home on the 3800 block of Southwest Hillside Drive.
Each incident occurred on June 22, according to court documents.
Wilson is scheduled to be arraigned in court Thursday afternoon.
Detectives confirmed Wilson is a former NFL player. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions out of Stanford University in 2005 and played 32 games at cornerback from 2005-2007, according to NFL.com.
