Police: 15-year-old injured in shooting on NE Glisan, bullet enters nearby home

A 15-year-old boy has been taken to a local hospital after being shot on Northeast Glisan Wednesday night.

Portland Police responded to a shots fired call at 9:58 p.m.

When officers arrived to the area of Northeast 99th Avenue and NE Glisan Street they found a 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound.

The boy was taken to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said a homeowner in the 600 block of NE 99th Ave. reported a bullet entered his home but did not hit him.

Police are searching the area for the suspect or suspects involved in the shooting.

Police said preliminary information indicates the shooting happened after a dispute and fight at the Gateway Transit Station.
