Man killed in N. Portland house fire

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A man was killed in a house fire in North Portland Friday morning, according to Portland Fire and Rescue.

Crews responded to the single-alarm house fire at the 6800 block of North Princeton Street at around 6:40 a.m.

They added the house was very cluttered, which created a lot of smoke.

According to Portland Fire and Rescue, the man was found near the front door, and was later pronounced dead from smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
