Oregon Air National Guard flyovers scheduled for the Fourth of July

The Oregon Air National Guard is scheduled to have flyovers around Oregon for the Fourth of July holiday.

Fighter jets from the 173rd Fighter Wing, based at Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, are flying over the following locations:

  • 10:00 a.m., Central Point Freedom Festival, Central Point, Oregon 
  • 10:10 a.m., 4th of July Celebration, Ashland, Oregon 
  • 10:15 a.m., 4th of July Parade, Klamath Falls, Oregon 
  • 10:40 a.m., 4th of July Celebration, Dorris, California 
  • 10:55 a.m., 4th of July Parade, Eagle Point, Oregon 
  • 11:15 a.m., Creswell 4th of July Parade & Celebration, Creswell, Oregon 
  • 11:25 a.m., Neskowin Patriotic Celebration, Neskowin, Oregon 
  • 11:35 a.m., 4th of July Parade, Rockaway Beach, Oregon
  • 11:55 a.m., Lake of the Woods 4th of July Celebration, Klamath Falls, Oregon 

The Oregon Military Department said jets will be flying 1,000 feet high at approximately 400 mph.

Flights could be canceled or times changed due to inclement weather or operational contingencies.
