TUALATIN, OR (KPTV) -

Police have arrested three people trying to collect a skimming device they had put on an ATM at a 7-Eleven store in Tualatin.

Officers were first called to the stored located at 6630 SW Nyberg Street Thursday morning when a store manager found and removed the device from the ATM.

Investigators said the skimmer was similar to ones found at other 7-Eleven stores in Tigard and Beaverton. Working with detectives from those cities, the Tualatin Police Department conducted surveillance at each store where a skimmer had been found.

The three suspects were eventually spotted by officers in Tualatin when they came back to the store to retrieve the skimmer. After a short pursuit, the three were taken into custody.

Two of suspects, a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy, both of whom were from Romania, were sent to Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Facility and charged with interfering with a police officer, criminal possession of a forgery device, and unlawful factoring of a credit card transaction.

The third suspect, Florina Welch, 36, of Fullerton, California, is being held in the Washington County Jail and charged with unlawful factoring of a credit card transaction.
