PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Have you seen something a little strange at Providence Park? That's because it was yarn bombed.

A bearded knit resembling Portland Timbers player Nat Borchers appeared on the face sculpture at Providence Park Monday morning.

Lyndsea Moore is the knitter responsible and says Borchers is her favorite player.

Moore has knitted the Borchers family hats and fake beards before but she says this time she wanted to do something big.

"I walk by the face almost every home game and I decided that it would just be something funny to do and I was originally going to do something with little ball things outside the stadium but decided that the face would be funnier," she said.

It took her about a month to knit the creation.

If you haven't stopped by Providence Park yet, you might want to, since Moore will be taking it down Wednesday morning.
