NEWBERG, OR (KPTV) -

A reward is being offered and surveillance images have been released to try and track down the man who robbed a Newberg convenience store.

Newberg-Dundee Police Department officers responded to the Circle K on the 3100 block of Portland Road at 10:20 a.m. May 26.

An employee said a man approached the counter and asked for some tobacco products. The man then implied he had a gun and demanded money.

The robber got away with cash.

The suspect is described as a white man, 6 feet tall and 230-260 pounds with blue eyes and a blond goatee. He was wearing a brown hooded jacket and blue jeans.

On Wednesday, The Newberg-Dundee Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Oregon announced a reward up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this case. Tips can be left anonymously at Crimestoppersoforegon.com.
