SALEM, OR (KPTV) -

A Salem pastor is facing charges including second-degree rape 30 years after he was previously convicted of sex abuse.

Mauricio Aguilera-Garcia, 55, was arrested Wednesday after a week-long investigation.

Detectives said the juvenile victim met Aguilera-Garcia through his work at a Salem church.

Aguilera-Garcia is a pastor at Our Father's House, a church that rents space from the Solid Rock Community Church on the 3500 block of Ward Drive Northeast in Salem.

Deputies said Aguilera-Garcia was convicted of first-degree sex abuse in 1985, but he is not listed as a registered sex offender.

No other details about the previous case or the current investigation were released by detectives.

Aguilera-Garcia was booked into the Marion County Jail without bail on 10 counts of second-degree rape, 10 counts of second-degree sodomy and 10 counts of unlawful sexual penetration.

Detectives believe there may be additional victims. Anyone with information about Aguilera-Garcia or this investigation is asked to call detectives at 503-316-6605.
