Deputies: Woman stabs roommate after argument over purse

A woman was taken into custody Saturday accused of stabbing her roommate after a fight over a purse, according to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at around 9 p.m. to the stabbing in the 27000 block of Riggs Hill Road in Foster.

Deputies learned that Scott hall, 57, had been stabbed by Christina Marr, 31.

The investigation revealed that Marr and Hall had only lived together for a short time.

Deputies said during a fight over a purse, Marr stabbed Hall multiple times with a knife.

Hall was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries according to deputies.

Marr is now in the Linn County Jail charged with assault in the first degree.
