HAPPY VALLEY, OR (KPTV) -

Clackamas County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested a man after he trespassed in a woman's treehouse in Happy Valley Monday afternoon.

Deputies responded to a report of a trespasser around 4:25 p.m. When deputies arrived to the location, an undeveloped lot in the 9900 block of Southeast Eastview Drive, they found a man in the treehouse who refused to come down.

Behavioral Health Specialists from the CCSO, the Clackamas Fire District, and members of the Hostage Negotiation team responded to the location.

CCSO said deputies negotiated with the man, identified as Troy Miller, 40, for over two hours. At times Miller would climb onto the roof, and into the tree.

CCSO said Miller eventually came down for a bottle of water and was taken into custody without injury.

Miller was taken to Clackamas County Jail and charged with possession of methamphetamine, resisting arrest and criminal trespass.
