VENETA, OR (KPTV) -

Law enforcement agencies aiming to crack down on impaired driving around the Oregon Country Fair made 14 DUII arrests during the three-day event.

Oregon State Police worked with the Lane County Sheriff's Office, Springfield Police Department and Eugene Police Department for extra patrols around Veneta from 6 p.m. to midnight on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The officers focused on Veneta and the surrounding towns of Elmira, Noti and Loraine.

Police said seven drivers who were arrested on DUII charges were under the influence of marijuana, while the other seven arrests were related to alcohol.

Police said two additional arrests were made for possession of meth in connection with the fair, as well as one arrest for possession of cocaine. Two people were arrested who had warrants.
