NFL camps begin at the end of the month, yet a few members of the Seattle Seahawks were able to deliver a Super Bowl of smiles at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Saturday.

The Seahawks’ 12 Tour roamed the halls for the weekend crew at Doernbecher.

Alongside the SeaGals & Blitz the Seahawk were rookies Joey Hunt and George Fant. Plus, the positive power of newly retired Ricardo Lockette, who can easily relate.

“Adversity is something that we all have to overcome. It's not as bad as it seems but there is always a brighter day and we're here to brighten their day and let them know that there is joy on the other side," said Lockette.

Lockette played his final game in the NFL last November after a vicious collision in Dallas, which required career-ending neck surgery.

"This is what's next for me. Bringing smiles to the kids, bringing smiles to those who need it. That's what the '12th Man' has done for me and that's what my community has done for me and I'll continue to do that as long as I am here," Lockette said.

The Seahawks' training camp begins in two weeks with their first preseason game on August 13th in Kansas City on Fox 12 Oregon.
