PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Officers with the Portland Police Bureau’s North Precinct responded to reports of gunfire in the 5700 block of Northeast Mallory Avenue Monday afternoon.

Police arrived in the area just after 3:00 p.m. and discovered evidence of gunfire. Officers also spoke with several witnesses who said they heard several shots and saw a small white car speed away from the area.

There were no victims found with gunshots at the scene or reported at area hospitals. Investigators believe the shooting may be tied to an ongoing dispute among individuals known in the area.

The bureau’s Gang Enforcement Team and Gun Task force are continuing to investigate incidents like this one around the city.

Officers ask anyone with information about the shooting Monday to please call police at 503-823-4106 or email them at gangs@portlandoregon.gov.
