ALOHA, OR (KPTV) -

A murder suspect accused of shooting and killing a man on an Aloha street is now facing additional charges including sex abuse and delivering methamphetamine to a minor.

Roger Gastemum-Medina, 21, of Beaverton, was arrested June 21 while walking along Highway 99W in Tigard.

Police said he shot 21-year-old Yusef Sharif on Southwest 167th Avenue and Blanton Street in Aloha at 8:37 a.m. June 20. Sharif was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said Sharif was walking down the street when Gastemum-Medina pulled up in a vehicle, shot him with a handgun and drove away.

Deputies said there was an "issue" between the two men, but did not elaborate further.

Gastemum-Medina was originally arraigned on charges of murder, unlawful use of a weapon and felon in possession of a firearm.

Prosecutors secured a new indictment this week charging Gastemum-Medina with multiple additional crimes, including second-degree sex abuse, third-degree rape and delivering meth to a minor.

According to court documents, the sex abuse involved a child younger than 16 years old. Court documents allege the abuse occurred from March up until the day of the shooting.

Gastemum-Medina was arraigned in court Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to all the charges. He is due back in court Aug. 2.
