BOTHELL, WA (AP) -

A large fire damaged several businesses in downtown Bothell.

The blaze early Friday morning started around 3 a.m. and was spread by high winds.

The fire broke out around 3 a.m. and spread rapidly as gusty winds fanned the flames. The fire spread to the Bothell Mall. Bothell Fire Department spokeswoman Kirsten Clemens said a Wells Fargo Bank branch and a cafe were damaged, though the extent wasn't immediately known.

No injuries were reported though some residents in the city just north of Seattle were evacuated.
