Two motorcycle riders seriously hurt in separate crashes in Longview

Longview Police are investigating two different crashes that seriously injured motorcycle riders.

The first happened around 5 p.m. Saturday on Constitution Lane in Longview.

People called 911 and reported that the male rider was not fully conscious and was having difficulty breathing.

Firefighters arrived and quickly called for a Life Flight helicopter.

The man was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver.

The rider was wearing a half-helmet.

His condition is not known.

The second crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday along Highway 432 just outside Longview.

911 callers reported a motorcycle was driving erratically before losing control and crashing into another vehicle.

The male rider was found several hundred feet behind the motorcycle which had burst into flames.

The rider was wearing a full face helmet.

He was taken by Longview Fire Paramedics to St. John Medical Center.

His condition is not known at the time.

Longview Police and Washington State Patrol are investigating.
