PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Employees at a southeast Portland bar had an early start to their day after they had to clean up a mess vandals left behind.

Likewise is located on Southeast Hawthorne and opened about a year and a half ago.

FOX 12 spoke with one of the co-owners who said someone broke a window sometime overnight but nothing there was stolen. It doesn't sound like much but for a small business it's a costly thing to fix.

"I don't understand how people have time to do this in this day and age. It seems like vandalism would be the last thing on the list. Not even an option, or outlet," said Adam Moser, co-owner of Likewise.

Moser said it may cost $1,000 to $1,500 to fix that broken window. He said he's waiting to see if insurance will cover the repair costs.

Portland police are investigating.

Moser told Fox 12 he's not sure if what happened was vandalism, or if perhaps someone got into a fight nearby but business is going to resume and they will be open for business.
