MILWAUKIE, OR (KPTV) -

A man missing from his Milwaukie area home was found in Clackamas.

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office put out an alert for 67-year-old Terry Brenneke on Sunday morning.

He had last been seen at noon Saturday at his home near Southeast Roots Road and Webster Road in unincorporated Milwaukie.

Deputies said he has a history of seizures and they were worried he was disoriented or confused.

Deputies said he was found when someone called to report hearing a man yelling for help from a steep hill covered with blackberry bushes on the 15000 block of Southeast 82nd Avenue in Clackamas at 3:22 p.m. Sunday.

Deputies could not reach him, so a crew from Clackamas Fire District responded and cut a large hole in a chain-link fence and then used tools to cut through 10 feet of thick blackberry bushes.

Although he was tired and thirsty, deputies said he appeared to only suffer minor cuts and bruises. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

"The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office reminds citizens to please call whenever they notice something out of the ordinary; it might just save a life," according to a statement from the sheriff's office.
