PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

The lead singer for the band Modest Mouse was cited for careless driving after a crash involving multiple vehicles in southeast Portland, according to police.

Isaac Brock failed to stop for traffic at Southeast Grand Avenue after crossing the Morrison Bridge at around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and hit the back of a City of Portland Parks & Recreation pickup, according to police.

The truck then hit a car, and that car hit another car. A fifth car was also likely involved, but police said it left the scene with the driver possibly unaware that his or her car had been tapped.

Brock told officers he fell asleep at the wheel, according to a Portland Police Bureau spokesman. Officers evaluated him for signs of intoxication, but none were found, according to police.

Brock was given a ticket for careless driving.
