ST. HELENS, OR (KPTV) -

The St. Helens Police Department has started a new citation campaign that gives back to kids exhibiting good behavior.

St. Helens police officers are handing out citations to youth spotted doing good deeds around the city.

If a kid is ticketed by an officer, their "pizza citation" requests them to make an appearance at Sunshine Pizza in September for a pizza party with St. Helens police officers.

Some good deeds that can be ticketed include wearing a bicycle helmet while riding a bike, or spotted using the crosswalk.

St. Helens PD hopes to ticket up to 100 youth for their acts of good behavior.
