VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

A missing 12-year-old boy from Vancouver was spotted at a northeast Portland store, but police are still searching for him.

Rodrigo Alexander Quintanilla has been away from his home since Friday.

Police said he ran away from his home on Delaware Lane early that morning.

Police received a report that he was alone inside a retail store in northeast Portland late Sunday night.

Detectives believe he may be attempting to seek shelter in retail stores, fast food restaurants and other public places.

Quintanilla was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with khaki-colored pants. He has a gray Columbia jacket with a black pattern on it. He is also carrying a white and multi-colored Skullcandy backpack.

Anyone who sees Quintanilla is asked to call 911.

Quintanilla was previously reported missing early Wednesday morning. He was located in that incident soon after the Vancouver Police Department put out an alert for him.
