VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

A fire at the construction site of a Vancouver apartment complex caused $300,000 in damage and is believed to be arson.

Freighters responded to the 4500 block of Northeast 66th Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Neighbors reported hearing explosions before seeing flames. The structure was fully involved when firefighters arrived.

Firefighters worked to contain the fire and keep it from spreading to additional buildings and a nearby senior living facility.

After putting out the fire, investigators said they determined it was intentionally set. No arrests have been made and no suspect information was released.

A reward up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to a conviction in this case. Tips can be submitted to the Vancouver Fire Department.

There were no reports of injuries in connection with the fire.
