VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

For the second time in two days, firefighters battled a suspicious construction site fire in Vancouver.

Vancouver crews said they responded to a blaze at a house on the 5700 block of 48th Street around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

The two-story house was under construction.

Witnesses said flames were coming through the roof and smoke could be seen from miles away.

It took 24 firefighters about 30 minutes to knock out the fire. Two homes adjacent to the scene were also damaged.

Crews said no injuries were reported.

Fire investigators said this fire is mostly likely arson.

They are investigating whether or not it is related to Wednesday’s fire at a construction site on 66th Avenue.

Anyone with information on either fire should contact police.
