Police: Armed robbers demand cash, narcotics from NE Portland pharmacy

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Police were searching for two men suspected of robbing a northeast Portland pharmacy at gunpoint, demanding cash and drugs.

Employees at Fairley's Pharmacy, located at 7206 Northeast Sandy Boulevard, told police two men, one of whom had a gun, robbed the store around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

The workers told officers one man ordered employees and a customer onto the ground while the other demanded cash and narcotics.

Cash and drugs in hand, the suspects then fled the scene.

Police said both suspects are African American men in their mid-20s.

The suspect armed with a gun is described as being 5 ft. 7 in. tall, wearing black and red clothes.

The suspect without a gun is described as 5 ft. 10 in. tall, about 180 pounds and also wearing black and red clothing.
