PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

An inmate that walked away from a Columbia River Correctional Institution work crew near the Pittock Mansion has been found by U.S. Marshalls in Lane County.

Jasson Lewis Ray, 37, was last seen Friday at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center, hours after he walked away from the work crew.

The Oregon State Police and crews from the Portland Police Bureau, including K-9 units, spent much of Friday searching nearby parks, trails and neighborhoods after Ray walked away from the mansion.

A resident of a nearby neighborhood told FOX 12 he saw Ray, who had stripped to a T-shirt and shorts and said he had broken his arm skateboarding.

The man said he last saw the inmate when he dropped him off at the hospital, where Ray checked in under an assumed name and was later seen on surveillance footage walking out in stocking feet.

On Monday, Lane Co. Sheriff's Office received a call at 2:05 p.m. that Ray was holed up inside a mobile home at Oaks Mobile Home Park, just southeast of Eugene.

Deputies responded to the location and made contact with Ray. Ray would not come out of the mobile home and claimed he had a bomb.

LCSO said a female came out of the home and cooperated with police.

The Eugene Police Department Bomb Unit arrived on scene and used gas to get Ray out of the home.

According to LCSO, Ray came out of the home and laid down on the porch. He claimed he had a bomb detonator in his hand.

Police negotiated with Ray for several hours until they were able to apprehend him at 8:30 p.m.

LCSO said no explosives were found inside the mobile home.

No other information is available at this time.
