Lebanon police arrest 18-year-old sex offender on new sex abuse charges

LEBANON, OR (KPTV) -

An 18-year-old sex offender is facing new sex abuse charges involving an underage victim, according to police.

Cameron Charles Rhamy was booked into the Linn County Jail on Thursday on charges of first-degree sex abuse and first-degree sodomy.

Investigators said the underage victim, who is related to Rhamy, reported inappropriate contact by Rhamy.

Rhamy is a registered sex offender. He was arrested in Albany following an investigation by the Lebanon Police Department.

The investigation is continuing and anyone with additional information is asked to contact Detective Ryan Padua at 541-258-4325.
