Bodies of man, woman discovered in Troutdale in apparent murder-suicide

TROUTDALE, OR (KPTV) -

The bodies of a man and woman were discovered in Troutdale in a case deputies are calling an apparent murder-suicide.

A landscaping crew reported seeing a body in a car when they arrived at a home on the 1700 block of Seidl Road at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Deputies arrived and found the body of a woman in a vehicle parked in the driveway.

Deputies then searched the inside of the home and found the body of a man.

Both the man and woman suffered gunshot wounds, according to investigators. Weapons were recovered at the scene and detectives said there is no threat to the public in connection with this investigation.

Both the man and woman appear to be in their 60s, according to deputies.

The medical examiner responded to the scene. Identifications are being withheld pending family notifications.

No other details were immediately released regarding the investigation.
