PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A pastor at a northeast Portland church is relieved that his stolen trailer has been found, but now he’s trying to reunite people with all of the stolen items he found inside.

The Central Bible Church has had some bad luck with their trailer this summer.

Last month, the staff at the church in northeast Portland had their white box trailer, which they use it for youth events and helping elderly members, stolen.

They got the trailer back, but it was stolen again last week.

Luckily, police found it last Friday and returned it. However, it was filled with items that the pastor believes are also stolen.

He didn’t want to go on-camera, but to alleviate more work for the police he is taking it upon himself to reunite people with their belongings.

The pastor posted on Facebook that if people in the Montavilla neighborhood have had things stolen recently like tools, construction equipment, generators or air conditioners they should come by the church and take a look.

The pastor is asking people to use the honor system, though, and only take what is theirs.

Residents that think some of their property might be among those items are asked to stop by Central Bible Church on Northeast 90th Avenue and Northeast Glisan Street.
