VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Two teens were arrested early Wednesday after they allegedly robbed a Vancouver 7-Eleven store at gunpoint.

Vancouver police said they responded to a call about a robbery at a 7-Eleven located at 3200 East Fourth Plain Boulevard around 1:30 a.m.

According to witnesses, two male teens entered the store and pointed what appeared to be a handgun at the clerk. They fled the scene with an unknown amount of cash.

A witness saw the teens exit the store and get into a car around the corner. The witness then followed the teen’s car onto SR-500, heading east.

According to the Vancouver Police Department, both the witness and the suspects came to a stop in front of the scene of an unrelated crash.

The witness alerted the Washington State troopers at the crash scene about the robbery at the 7-Eleven.

Washington State troopers arrested 18-year-old Charles Ferguson and the other 16-year-old boy at the crash scene.
