Police release surveillance video of shooting on NE 9th and Alberta

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Surveillance video of a shooting on Northeast 9th Avenue and Alberta Street has been released by Portland police in hopes that it will help with the investigation.

The shooting happened on Aug. 18 around 3:52 p.m.

Officers responded to the area and found evidence of gunfire, including one vehicle damaged by gunfire. No injuries were reported.

Police released surveillance video of the shooting. Detectives would like to speak with people inside the vehicles that turned onto 9th Avenue who may be victims and/or witnesses.

Anyone who was in one of those vehicles, anyone who witnessed the shooting, or anyone with information about the shooting that has not spoken to police is asked to contact Detective Jeff Pontius at 503-823-2081 or Jeffery.pontius@portlandoregon.gov
