Police: Man critically injured after stabbing at Couch Park, suspect arrested

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland police are investigating a stabbing that left one man critically injured in downtown Portland Friday night.

Police responded to the stabbing just before 6 p.m. at Couch Park, located at 1961 Northwest Glisan Street.

When officers and medical personnel arrived, they found an adult man suffering from traumatic injuries. He was taken to a Portland hospital for treatment for life-threatening injuries.

Police said witnesses provided information to officers that led to the suspects arrest. The name of the suspect has not been released.

Homicide detectives have responded for the investigation due to the nature of the victim's injuries.
