Deputies find woman missing from adult foster home in Sisters

SISTERS, OR (KPTV) -

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office have found an 84-year-old woman who was missing from an adult foster care facility in Sisters.

Lena R. Shieler was spotted by Oregon State Police on Highway 26 near Government Camp after motorists reported a vehicle driving erratically.

Shieler was found to be in good health and transported to Mt. Hood Medical Center in Gresham for evaluation.

Prior to OSP troopers spotting her, Shieler had been last seen driving off in one of her caregiver’s vehicles some time after 11:00 p.m. Friday.
