Hundreds line up for free health clinic in SE Portland

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Hundreds of homeless and low income people lined up to attend a free health clinic in southeast Portland this weekend.

The clinic was held at Portland Adventist Academy and began at 7 a.m. People began lining up for the clinic at 5 a.m.

Over two days, 826 people were able to get dental work done, as well as receive routine eye exams and physicals.

Dozens of people also received free haircuts and massages.

More than 500 volunteers helped out at the clinic, which was a collaboration of Adventist church, hospital and education systems.
