Police: Missing Vancouver man found

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

UPDATE: Police say John Spencer has been located and returned home. 


ORIGINAL STORY:

Vancouver police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 66-year-old man. 

At about 8:20 p.m. Sunday, police responded to the 5100 block of NE 121st Avenue for a missing person complaint. Officers learned that 66-year-old John Spencer left his address at about 5:30 p.m. for a walk and has not returned. 

Spencer is described as a white man, about 5'10" and 220 pounds. He is bald with brown eyes and has a short gray beard. He was wearing a brown shirt, black jeans and a blue "pea coat" style coat. 

Police say Spencer has significant medical history and some mental health issues as well. Spencer left his phone behind and does not have access to a vehicle. 

Anyone who knows where he is or believes they have seen him is asked to call 911.
