PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Police are asking for the public's help locating a Portland woman who has been missing since September 2015.

Jennifer Lee Brown, 40, was last seen visiting the home of a friend in the area of Southeast 16th Avenue and Stark Street nearly one year ago.

Police said friends and family initially believed Brown may have entered a long-term treatment facility as she struggled with addiction issues. However, she has not been in contact with anyone for the last year.

At the time she was last seen, Brown was homeless and camping in parks.

Police were contacted about Brown's disappearance in late January. Investigators released photos of her Thursday.

Detectives said there is no indication of foul play in this case.

Friends are offering a reward for information that leads to finding Brown.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Lori Fonken at 503-823-1081, lori.fonken@portlandoregon.gov, and reference case #16-26714.
