JACKSON COUNTY, OR (KPTV) -

A southern Oregon man is accused of providing alcohol to two teen girls before raping one of them and assaulting the other, according to deputies.

Derek Michael Stout, 23, of Sams Valley, was arrested Sunday.

Deputies responded to his home after receiving a 911 call at 11:54 p.m. Saturday.

The caller, a 15-year-old girl, reported that she had been raped by Stout. She escaped the home through a window and ran to a neighbor's house.

Police said Stout then assaulted the second victim, a 16-year-old girl, and pointed a gun at her.

She was able to run away to another neighbor's home when they heard the sirens of deputies arriving at the scene.

Detectives said Stout met the girls at a party two weeks ago. He communicated with them through text messages and Snapchat, according to investigators.

Deputies said he transported the teens to his home Saturday and provided them alcohol before the attacks.

Investigators believe Stout may have other victims. Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to call 541-774-6800 and reference case 16-17751.

Stout was booked into the Jackson County Jail on charges of first-degree rape, third-degree rape, first-degree sexual abuse, third-degree sexual abuse, fourth-degree assault and menacing.
