Three injured in Milwaukie house fire

MILWAUKIE, OR. (KPTV) -

A house fire in Milwaukie left three people injured, with one in critical condition Sunday, according to the Clackamas Fire District.

Crews responded to the fire on Southeast Hemlock Street near Cedarcrest Drive at around 5:30 a.m.

Someone who lived in the home was able to escape the fire and went to a neighbor’s house to call 911.

Fire crews said one person was rescued from the back bedroom of the home and was rushed to the hospital. The Clackamas Fire District says that person is in critical condition.

According to the Clackamas Fire District, two other people in the home were taken to area hospitals.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
