Police are investigating a robbery at a marijuana dispensary in northeast Portland Sunday evening.

Just before 9 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the report of an armed robbery in progress at the GreenBuds Dispensary in the 10900 block of northeast Sandy Boulevard, according to the Portland Police Bureau.

When officers arrived in the area, they saw at least two people running from the dispensary into the area north of Sandy Boulevard, toward the railroad tracks.

Multiple suspects – both male and female – were involved in the robbery and at least four of the suspects were armed with handguns, according to police.

One person has been detained, and officers are continuing to search the area north of Sandy Boulevard.

The Special Emergency Reaction Team (SERT) is responding to assist officers in the search for the suspects.

Anyone with emergency information about the robbery is asked to call 911. Anyone with non-emergency information about this incident is asked to call Robbery detectives at 503-823-0405.
