PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A sex trafficking suspect wanted in Oregon was caught at a motel in Nebraska, according to the FBI.

Aaron Barnes, 33, was arrested by FBI agents Tuesday near the airport in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Barnes made his initial appearance before a federal magistrate Wednesday and is currently in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service pending transfer back to Oregon.

The FBI asked for the public's help last month locating Barnes and 28-year-old Kamau Kambui Leland Curnal.

They were indicted by a federal grand jury in Oregon in July on one count each of sex trafficking of a child and transportation of a minor for purposes of prostitution.

The indictment alleges the men drove an underage victim from Portland to Seattle as part of a sex trafficking operation.

The FBI is still searching for Curnal.

Curnal is described as a black man, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 185 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He also goes by the names Kamau K. Curnal, Kamau Kambui Carnal Jr. and Kamau Curnal.

He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about his location is asked to contact the FBI. In Portland, the number is 503-224-4181. The Seattle office number is 206-622-0460.
