PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Thieves are targeting food cart pods in Portland.

The fifth food cart pod to be hit in recent weeks was burglarized overnight.

Workers at the Piedmont Station Food Carts at Northeast 6th Avenue and Killingworth Street reported the crime Friday morning.

A suspect or suspects broke into several food carts and an ATM on the property.

In recent weeks, burglaries have also occurred at Cartlandia, Portland Mercado, Tidbit Food Farm and 42nd Avenue Food Carts.

Detectives are investigating each case, but have not confirmed if they are all connected.

Anyone with information about these burglaries is asked to email crimetips@portlandoregon.gov.

Food cart owners and operators are encouraged to review crime prevention information shared by the City of Portland's Office of Neighborhood Involvement at portlandoregon.gov/oni/53528.
