The Portland Police Bureau is investigating three separate shootings in Northeast Portland overnight.

Officers responded to the first report just before 8:30 Friday night on Northeast Killingsworth Street and Columbia Parkway. 911 callers said that people in two cars were shooting at each other, then sped away in opposite directions.

As the officers were responding, the callers said that one of the drivers involved crashed, but drove away with flat tires.

Witnesses told police that the two involved cars were a smaller red SUV and a black Nissan Altima.

Police say the Nissan Altima was later found abandoned at Northeast 92nd Avenue and Alberta Street with heavy front-end damage and apparent bullet holes through the windshield and driver's side window.

A few hours later, officers responded to a second report of gunfire on Northeast 18th Avenue and Alberta Street.

Police say officers found evidence of gunfire in the area. An Uber driver was driving north on 18th Avenue and had his car hit by several rounds of gunfire. Neither the driver nor the passenger were hurt. Police believe they were not the intended target.

The suspect was described as a black male in his mid-20s, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.

Officers responded to a third report of gunfire just after 2 a.m. Saturday morning in the area of 102nd and Sandy Boulevard.

Police say they investigated the incident, but couldn’t find any witnesses.

There were no known injuries as a result of the three shootings, and it is not known if they are related incidents.
