Police: Pregnant woman killed when car pushes her through glass window of Beaverton business

BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -

A pregnant woman died after she was hit by a car and pushed through the glass window of a Beaverton business, according to police.

Emergency crews responded to the 4200 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard at 1:43 p.m. Tuesday. 

Investigators said a woman mistakenly had her vehicle in reverse when she attempted to pull out of a parking lot.

The driver hit a female pedestrian who was walking on the sidewalk. The woman who was hit was pushed through the front of a business.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with injuries initially described as non-life threatening. She later died at the hospital.
