BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -

Police have identified a pregnant woman who was killed Tuesday after a driver crashed into her and pushed her through the window of a business.

Elena Velasquez-Pelico, 37, of Beaverton died at the hospital from injuries she sustained in the crash.

Police said Suha Al Naisani, 37, of Beaverton, accidentally backed her car into Velasquez-Pelico, knocking the woman through a glass window of a business in the 4200 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard.

Al Naisani told officers she mistakenly had her vehicle in reverse when she attempted to pull out of the parking lot.

She stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, according to the Beaverton Police Department.

Police said the case was handed over to the Washington County district attorney for review.
