Your vote: More than 1.95 million ballots returned in Oregon

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

More than 1.95 million ballots were returned in Oregon, topping the total for the 2008 general election, according to the Oregon Elections Division.

Election officials said 76.2 percent of eligible voters returned their ballots statewide.

Nearly 400,000 votes were cast in Multnomah County, which represents 78.4 percent of eligible voters in the state's largest county.

The highest voter turnout by percentage was Harney County, where 85 percent of the 4,768 eligible voters returned their ballots.

The lowest voter turnout in Oregon was in Clackamas County, where only 57.4 percent of eligible voters returned their ballots.
