Missing 89-year-old Salem woman found safe in Keizer

MARION COUNTY, OR (KPTV) -

UPDATE: Keizer police officers located Gordon around 5 a.m. Thursday while she was driving her vehicle on River Road near Manbrin Drive. She is safe and has been returned to her family.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Marion County deputies are asking for the public's help finding a missing 89-year-old Salem woman who suffers from dementia.

Deputies say Sybil Isabel Gordon left her home in the 3000 block of Fisher Road Northeast around 3:30 p.m. to go shopping at a nearby Walmart. At 8:15 p.m., when Gordon did not return home, her family called 911.

Gordon suffers from dementia and may be disoriented.

Deputies said she was last seen driving her silver 2005 Kia Rio, 4-door, Oregon license 327FNT.
