PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Parents and children marched Sunday to protest the election of Donald Trump.

A family-oriented anti-Trump rally was held in Pioneer Courthouse Square. Parents brought their children to show support for others protesting the election results.

Nearly 300 people took part, with kids even speaking about the results.

One parent talked about how the election results do not represent what they want to see in the future.

"It's something that is just unacceptable when you think about what we want to raise our kids to be, the values we want them behold and demonstrate themselves," parent James Lessard-Templin told FOX 12.

Some kids at the protest said it’s hard to make America great again since it’s already great.

The protest and march stuck to the sidewalks and did not block traffic.
