KELSO, WA (KPTV) -

Two suspects wanted for a pair of home invasion robberies in Kelso were arrested in Ohio, according to police.

Police have been searching for Joseph L. Edwards, 39, and Kelsie B. Lee, 27, since Oct. 28.

Early that morning, investigators said Edwards and Lee were among four people that broke into a home in Kelso.

The victims told FOX 12 that a woman came to their door at 3 a.m. and said she needed help because someone had tried to rape her.

The couple let the woman inside, but then another woman came to the door, followed by two masked men with a crow bar.

Police said the suspects got away with cell phones and other items.

Several hours later, three of the same suspects broke into another nearby Kelso home, attacked the people inside as they slept and stole items.

Police said Edwards and Lee got away, but another suspect was taken into custody.

Investigators said the victims in the first incident did not know the suspects, but the suspects and victims did know each other in the second home invasion.

Police did not immediately release any details about the arrests of Edwards and Lee in Ohio, but officers expect the extradition process back to Washington to take place soon.
