DOUGLAS COUNTY, OR (KPTV) -

A Washington man was critically injured in a crash on I-5 in Douglas County Saturday, according to Oregon State Police.

Crews responded to the crash at around 8:15 p.m.

Troopers say a 1999 GMC Suburban was driving south on I-5 when it left the highway near milepost 136, crashed through a fence and went into the parking lot of a trucking company.

The GMC then crashed into a parked truck tractor and semi-trailer.

The driver, 47-year-old Peter Flohr, of Peshastin, Washington was taken to a local hospital by helicopter with life-threatening injuries.

Fatigue and speed are being investigated as factors in the crash, according to Oregon State Police.
