VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

SWAT officers serving a search warrant in Vancouver Saturday discovered a methamphetamine distribution operation and a cache of weapons.

Officers served a warrant at the home of 56-year-old William Rathgeber located at 6114 Northeast 112th Avenue, which is directly across from Covington Middle School.

The police found several ounces of meth, as well as nine weapons, some of which had been reported as stolen.

Rathgeber was arrested and faces 13 felony charges, including possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of stolen firearms and maintaining a drug house.

Prior to his arrest Saturday, Rathgeber was out on bail from an arrest at the same residence in May of this year, from which he faces charges of unlawful possession of firearms, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and running a drug house. Officers also noted that he is prohibited from owning firearms.

Another person at the home during the time of Saturday’s search was also arrested. Police captured Gabriel Lawson, 43, as he attempted to flee the scene. Lawson was found with methamphetamine in his possession, and he was wanted on a felony warrant out of Port Angelas and a misdemeanor warrant out of Clark County.
