GRESHAM, OR (KPTV) -

Police are searching for a man who robbed a Gresham bank.

The suspect walked into the Key Bank branch at Northeast 181st Avenue and Halsey Street at 10 a.m. Oct. 19 and used a demand note to rob the bank.

Detectives released surveillance images of the suspect Monday.

The teller put an undisclosed amount of cash into a paper bag that the robber brought with him. The suspect ran out of the bank and was last seen heading east on Northeast Barr Street toward 183rd Avenue.

The suspect is described as a black man between 6 feet tall and 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing between 160 to 200 pounds.

The suspect's face was covered with a yellow and red scarf.

He was wearing a distinctive denim jacket with a "Phat Farm" logo in the center of the back. Under the jacket he was wearing a red plaid hooded jacket.

Police released a detailed image Monday of the same type of jacket that the suspect was wearing.

The suspect was also wearing gray pants and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Detective Aaron Turnage at 503-618-3136.
